CHIME 30th Anniversary Podcast: LEADERSHIP with John Kravitz, 2020-2021 CHIME Board Chair

Episode Description

Join us as we celebrate our three decades of dedication to digital health leadership with this special edition podcast! For each of the 30 weeks until our Fall Forum, we’ll visit with a digital health leader who has made a very special impact on CHIME, including many of our Board Chairs.

In this episode, Russ chats with CHIME’s 2020-2021 Board Chair John Kravitz, Corporate CIO, Geisinger Health.

Kravitz focuses on LEADERSHIP, one of CHIME’s central values, noting the importance of communication for digital health leaders and the advantages of having a 30-second elevator pitch to convey four or five top strategic priorities. He thanks his first mentor as well as Dr. John Glaser for serving as supportive figures in his career journey. Kravitz looks forward to revolutionary technologies coming to healthcare that will bring keyboard-less operation to providers, freeing them to give voice instructions and notes while walking around the room or talking with patients.
