Episode Description

GEM is being called a radical new way to treat diabetes and The National Institutes of Health is giving millions to study it. We're going to talk about Glucose Everyday Matters (also called Glucose Excursion Minimization) with Dr. Daniel Cox, the UVA researcher who lives with type 2 and developed it.

Let's also talk about insulin resistance. You've probably heard the term, but what does it mean? Can you change it? Should you?

This podcast is not intended as medical advice. If you have those kinds of questions, please contact your health care provider.
