Episode Description

Throughout the COVID-19 hospitals and health systems have been forging new partnerships with stakeholders to ensure ongoing care for their patients, health care workers and communities. To highlight these efforts, AHA has launched a new series of resources called Joining Hands for Greater Impact.

In this first podcast series, AHA’s Priya Bathija talks with leaders from Henry Ford Health System and the Islamic Center of America about their collaboration to increase vaccinations in the Muslim community around Detroit.
