Episode Description

"I thought it was a hot topic 10 years ago" – Dr. Erin Elliott

Dr. Erin Elliott, a national speaker and educator on Sleep Apnea, discusses several important facts dentists should know in order to better serve their patients and potentially save lives. According to Dr. Elliott, snoring is not something people should recognize as their "norm." Yet, 25% of American married couples sleep in separate rooms due to snoring. What's more, is that dentists can be the first line of defense against Sleep Apnea due to the fact that "oral appliances are effective as first-line therapy in mild to moderate cases."

Listen to this eye-opening podcast to hear more interesting facts about Sleep Apnea and how you can integrate it within your practice.

Recorded live from the Voices of Dentistry Conference in Phoenix AZ by Dr. Danny Domingue.
