Rebecca Love, RN, MSN, FIEL, is a pioneering nurse executive and entrepreneur who made history as the first nurse featured on TED.com and the first nurse panelist at SXSW. She is a Forbes Business Council contributor and has been featured in BBC, Fortune, Forbes, STAT, and ABC News.
As the first Director of Nurse Innovation & Entrepreneurship at Northeastern University, Rebecca founded the Nurse Hackathon movement and co-founded SONSIEL, now a UN-affiliated nonprofit. She has founded three companies—including HireNurses.com, acquired in 2018—and co-authored two books: The Rebel Nurse Handbook and The Nurse's Guide to Innovation.
Currently, she chairs the Commission for Nurse Reimbursement and serves as Co-Chair of the NursingIsSTEM Coalition. An advisor to multiple digital health startups, Rebecca speaks internationally and is deeply passionate about empowering nurses to lead healthcare innovation and entrepreneurship. She brings that same energy and advocacy to co-hosting HIT Like a Girl podcast.
