My first job was answering phones for hospice, where I sat with people in their hardest moments and listened intently. In high school, I was the yearbook editor, telling the stories that mattered most and finding the angle that brought them to life. Those instincts are still exactly what I bring to nearly two decades of experience in healthcare marketing, built on storytelling, strategy, and a deep respect for what it takes to make people feel truly heard.
When I produce an episode, I'm focused on the story underneath the conversation and editing toward what will stick with someone long after the episode ends. I want every guest to walk in ready to share what they're good at, not their resume, and every listener to walk away with insights, tips, and tricks they didn't have before they hit play. If someone is trying to understand their body or navigate the healthcare system, this podcast is built to help them do exactly that.
Dr. Bayo and I both come to this work as patients who know what it feels like to be dismissed or unheard, and as healthcare professionals who have spent our careers inside that same system. She brings her warmth, genuine curiosity, and empathy to every conversation, making guests and listeners feel safe and supported.
