In this episode of The 108 Podcast, Raquel sits down with Mary and Chad, parents of two children with type 1 diabetes. Chad also lives with T1D himself, giving their family a unique perspective on managing diabetes from both the parent and patient side.
We talk about what daily life really looks like in a household where diabetes is constantly part of the conversation, the challenges that come with managing three different people with three different needs, and the systems they've put in place to keep everyone thriving.
One of the most interesting parts of our conversation is how each member of their family uses different diabetes technology.
