Rural obstetrics care is often hampered by a lack of providers, low reimbursement, and limited resources, often leading to closures of birthing centers and OB/GYN practices in rural communities. This week, we speak with a Hillsdale legend, and someone who often has been been the only or one of the only people delivering babies in the community over the past few decades.
