Teri Kwant - Trauma Informed Design; How Our Environments Affect Our Sense of Well-Being.

Jeremy has a conversation with Teri Kwant, the director of an innovation and experience design studio within RSP Architects called Dreambox.  Her passion for human-centered design has pushed her into the emerging field of trauma-informed design, giving more thoughtful consideration to the stories of the people who will be frequenting the spaces that she helps to design.   Also, a frequent lecturer for the University of Minnesota School of Design, the College of Visual Arts, and the Minneapolis College of Art and Design, she asks students to consider the emotional response that automatically happens within the built environment.
